The GCPL family is excited to announce a new club will be joining this fall. Northshore United FC will be joining the league as the thirteenth team in the league and eighth team based in Louisiana. The team will play several friendly matches throughout the summer against existing teams in the league.
Tryouts have been scheduled for Saturday April 22 and 29 at Pelican Park. More information about tryouts can be found on the clubs Facebook page. The team’s home field and practice fields will be announced once finalized.
The team will be managed by Nick Chetta. Chetta is the current head coach at Northlake Christian School in Covington, Louisiana. He is also a staff coach at Mandeville Soccer Club. With over 17 years experience, Chetta will help build a strong program for players and fans to enjoy. Coach Chetta will be formally announced as the head coach at a later date.
