We are happy to announce our second expansion team for the 2016-2017 season, Biloxi City Futbol Club (BCFC).
Representing Biloxi, Mississippi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, BCFC becomes the first out of state club to join the Louisiana Premier League. “We are extremely pleased to join the Louisiana Premier League,” said BCFC vice-president, Luke Berry “BCFC is looking to represent the whole Mississippi Gulf Coast in local, regional and ultimately national tournaments.”
“Since the beginning, one of our main goals was to expand, whether it be in-state or in our neighboring states,” said league commissioner, Jonathan Rednour “Biloxi City brings forth a great a plan to bring a highly competitive team to the Mississippi gulf coast region. We are very excited about having them in the league”
Biloxi City FC are the 8th club to join the Louisiana Premier League in it’s two year existence. “The LPL fits our objectives perfectly,” said Luke Berry “We want to grow in an organic way and to do that we must start within our means and grow upwards.”
“The addition of BCFC expands the LPL geographically along the Gulf Coast. We are looking at their addition as a gateway to further developing our relationship with other Mississippi and Alabama clubs,” said league co-founder and Pool Boys FC coach Jeremy Poklemba “We look forward to the competition they will bring”
Biloxi City FC has appointed Sinisi Vukadin as their head coach for the 2016-2017 season. “Coach Sinisa has extensive experience in the game and having played professionally in his youth, in the former Yugoslavia, was our number one target and we are ecstatic that he has accepted the position,” said Luke Berry.
“We hope our fans are getting excited about next season with the new additions, I know our clubs are.” said Jonathan Rednour
The Louisiana Premier League now has 7 clubs that will compete in the 2016-2017 season.
